Greenbelt Trail (WY) Description

The Greenbelt Trail begins at the western border of City Park in Buffalo, Wyoming. From there, the crushed-stone pathway heads southwest, traveling just over 2 miles to the Veterans' Home of Wyoming. The final leg of the trail parallels Veterans Lane north to US 16.

The route offers views of Clear Creek and the surrounding Bighorn Mountains. Note that there will be a slight uphill climb moving east to west. The Greenbelt Trail is also part of the city's larger Clear Creek Trail System.

Parking and Trail Access

On the east end of the trail, parking is available along Klondike Drive, adjacent to Buffalo's City Park. On the west end of the trail, parking is available at the Veterans' Home of Wyoming.
