The Harriman Trail is an 18-mile trail that runs through Blaine County, Idaho. The route was named after W. Averell Harriman, a prominent politician and businessman who originally deeded the land to the sate of Idaho.
The trail is comprised of dirt, and largely follows ID-75 between Ketchum and Galena Lodge. The result is an easy-to-access trail with wonderful scenic views surrounding the trail. The route is groomed for cross-country skiing in the winter. The route also intersects Wood River Campground.
Parking for the Harriman Trail is available at either trail end, in the north at Galena Lodge, and in the south at the Sawtooth NRA headquarters.
