This is a biking and walking trail located in Leesburg, Florida. It's the first part of what is hoped to be a rail-trail extending to Leesburg High School. Currently, the paved trail heads east from the historic Mote-Morris House on 12th Street, ending at Canal Street. There it links up with the Venetian Gardens Trail, located across Canal, and which in turn connects to Fountain Lake Trail.
The trail consists of a hard-surface, 14-foot wide, two-lane path, with seating and fitness stations provided along the way.
Magnolia Trail users may be able to park at Venetian Gardens (109 E. Dixie Avenue, Leesburg) and walk or ride on the Canal Trail north to the start of the Magnolia Trail, just north of Oak Street. There are accessible parking spaces at the provided.
At the east end of the trail cross Canal St. and make a right. Trail/sidewalk runs along Canal. Cross rt 44 into Venetian Gardens where there is a beautiful path along Harris Lake.
