The Perry Creek Trail begins near Briar Cliff University in the heart of Sioux City and heads south from there along its namesake creek past residential neighborhoods and shopping areas. The paved pathway offers open views and a safe and convenient route through town.
Midway, the trail provides access to Center Street Park and its picnic areas, restrooms, and ball fields. The southern end of the trail runs adjacent to popular attractions such as the Sioux City Farmers Market, Tyson Event Center, and the Sioux City Art Center. Its last half mile also parallels active railroad tracks, a scenario known as rail-with-trail.
The trail ends at Jackson Street, just north of the Missouri River shoreline, where you'll find a sprawling park, the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, and a river museum.
Parking and restrooms are available in Center Street Park (1101 W. 21st St., Sioux City).
Paved and well maintained trail that follows Perry Creek from down by Hard Rock Hotel, and goes all the way to Outer Drive. From there you can take Outer Drive and connect to Floyd River trail if desired.
