The Renova Heritage Walking Trail provides a short path for exercise on a former Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad (later Illinois Central Railroad) corridor. The wide paved trail in the tiny community of Renova features benches and trash cans along its entire length and is one of several trails open on the out-of-service corridor. The others are Shelby Trails and the Duncan Walking Trail to the north and Cleveland's Crosstie Walk, Boyle Rail-Trail, Shaw Rail-Trail and Hollandale Rail-Trail to the south.
Parking for the Renova Heritage Walking Trail is available at a trailhead at the northern end of the trail between Happy Street and Old Highway 61. Renova is located off US 61/278 just north of Cleveland.
The Renovo Heritage Walking Trail is nothing more than a short path that parallels old hwy 61 for just over a quarter mile. Not in a very scenic area but a nice well maintained trail.
