Closure notice: Due to Hurricane Helene’s significant damage across the state, the Palmetto Trail will be closed until further notice. Please visit the Palmetto Conservation website for more information.

This unique trail runs through the campus of the SC School for the Deaf and the Blind features interpretive signs in Braille that teach trail-goers about the types of trees along the route. The short, crushed-stone path closely follows Cedar Springs Road on its way north to downtown Spartanburg. Midway, the trail crosses Holmes Boulevard, where you'll find a welcome center.
