The Young America Rail Trail runs for a mile through the City of Norwood Young America. The route partially follows a former railroad corridor. The trail surface is primarily dirt and grass.
Heading south from SE 3rd Avenue near the lake, the trail passes through woodlands and meadows. At Industrial Boulevard, the trail curves southeast to the intersection of Lakewood Trail and Serenity Circle.
There is no designated parking available for this trail.
