The Buffalo to Montrose Trail runs between the namesake towns of Buffalo and Montrose for 6.2 miles.
About the Route
The Buffalo to Montrose Trail largely follows County Route 12. The trail route is entirely flat and paved with frequent driveway crossings. The trail provides a great connection between these two towns, as well as several amenities in between.
The Buffalo to Montrose Trail runs between Montrose Blvd. (Buffalo) and 3rd St. N (Montrose).

The trail runs along a fairly busy road and it can be a bit loud. Paved areas are in good shape and some older sidewalk is in lesser shape and a bit rough. Nice views of Buffalo Lake and the North Fork Crow River.
