Centennial Trail (OK)

Super Trail!

April, 2025 by dpate

I rode the Centennial Trail in mid April in a weekday morning. The trail is in good shape and very few people. I was able to hammer most of the way. I recommend checking this trail out. I give it five stars though it could use some cleaning up. Traveling cyclist Facebook

Riverwalk Trail (Bixby)

Nice shaded areas with picnic tables and views of the river.

Liberty Trail

My favorite trail around. Well maintained and plenty of hills. I start at the NSU trail head and ride to where it meets the creek turnpike trail then head back. Some parts have plenty of shade, some no shade. There are benches and a bathroom stop.

Old Frisco Trail

An overall pleasant trail

October, 2022 by ufonut

I walked / jogged the entire distance of this trail and back one recent Sunday morning / afternoon. A nice, mostly tree lined trail with mile markers along the way. Be careful if you are running this trail though because there are about ten signs at residential and commercial streets stating that “traffic does not stop.” My only complaint is that after a few miles the scenery gets rather boring and routine - plus there is the constant road noise nearby as well. Towards the end of the trail things got a bit rough and slightly overgrown but I actually rather enjoyed this wild and wooly portion before doubling back to the car. Highlights were the overall excellent condition of the trail, a bench or two to take a load off, a couple of water fountains, and a large pond off trail that was a welcome change of scenery. High

Centennial Trail (OK)

Sweet Surprise

Nice trail with brand new asphalt through mostly wooded landscape. It is not a loop but a short ride down Main Street and through the Depot District joins the two ends. Could use a litter pick up in spots but sadly what trail anymore doesn’t?

Old Frisco Trail

Hidden Jewel.

I just discovered this somewhat local to me trail. I had no idea it existed. I will definitely be going back.

The western 1/4 of this trail is a little more exciting than the eastern 3/4. Once you get out to the longer, straighter portions that follow along the Creek turnpike it's going to be long stretched out miles. There is very little if any shade in this area. There are a few blind corners. The traffic can be noisy from the turnpike, but it's a safe trail.

Old Frisco Trail

Perfect for the family

We have been using the Frisco Trail for years now. I run there often because it’s easier on my joints than pavement (and no cars)!!! When I bring my kids, they ride their bikes while I jog. It’s flat, smooth and easy to ride or run. With the addition of lights, better bridges, and water...it will definitely be even more visited by us.
Also, we are very excited about the bike trails that weave through the trees! Great for me to ride or let the kids ride while I run the trail right beside them!!!!

Old Frisco Trail

Best Place to Train

March, 2020 by snyderk14

The Old Frisco Trail has been my go to training location for many marathons. I have completed 2 Boston Marathons and will also be going again this year. I love how the dirt rode has less impact on my feet, legs, and body than a true rode run. It is just like running down a flat dirt road for 6.5 miles turn around and come back. It is super easy to set out aid stations on but now we also have two water fountains for you to hydrate back up with again. I also love to take my kids out to this trail. I let them bike and I run. I feel so safe on this trail because you do not feel like you are about to get hit by a car. This is such a great place to run or bike. Go outside. Run on Dirt.

Liberty Trail

Noisy!

March, 2019 by 3dslides

Nothing wrong with the trail itself, but it runs along the expressway so the vehicle traffic noise is really loud. This trail is only a mile from my house but I don't ride it any more. Give me a trail through some quiet woods any day.
