Situated along the eastern shore of Augusta Lake, the Augusta Pedestrian & Bicycle Path serves as the primary trail for the community of Augusta, Kansas. The trail connects residences to the east and south of the lake with two popular parks. At its southern end, Garvin Park is Augusta’s largest, featuring baseball diamonds, picnic shelters and an outdoor stage. In the north, the trail ends at Robert Shryock Park, which offers a sand volleyball court, boat ramp, play area, picnic shelters and stunning views of the lake.
Parking for the Augusta Pedestrian & Bicycle Path is available at either end of the trail, at Garvin and Robert Shryock Parks.
