The Blowing Springs Greenway is a 3-mile paved trail in Bella Vista that connects Metfield Park to Blowing Springs Park. The trail is smooth and 10 feet-wide, making it suitable for bikes, pedestrians, families with strollers, and those with mobility aids. Pets on leashes are welcome.
Starting by Sugar Creek Soccer Park, the trail winds through the woods connecting residential areas in Bella Vista to schools, parks and other recreational facilities--making it the ideal option for alternative transportation.
Partway along the trail is the Blowing Springs Trailhead and the Blowing Springs Park. The park has cabins, RV parking, and places to camp. There are also parking lots for those looking to take advantage of the trail, as well as restrooms, picnic tables, and access to the Blowing Springs.
The trail passes through the Blowing Springs Arboretum, before ending at Metfield Skills Park where there are numerous recreational facilities. These include a swimming pool, a pump track, and places to play various sports.
The trail is the northern-most part of Northwest Arkansas' Razorback Regional Greenway, a 46-mile, primarily off-road, shared-use trail that extends from Bella Vista to the southern edge of Fayetteville. At it's southern terminus, the Blowing Springs Greenway connects with another trail included in the Razorback Regional Greenway, the Bella Vista Lake Trail.
Parking is available at Metfield Skills Park (1 Hilltop Dr), the Blowing Springs trailhead (700 Blowing Springs Rd) and at Bella Vista Lake Razorback Greenway Parking across the street from the Veterans Wall of Honor (103 Veterans Way, Bella Vista).
Metfield Skills Park has two parking lots, with one accessed at 1 Hilltop Dr and other on Commonwealth Rd.
The Metfield Skills Park parking lots and Bella Vista Lake Razorback Greenway Parking both have accessible parking spaces.
