East Bighorn River Trail Description

The East Bighorn River Trail runs through Thermopolis, Wyoming. Altough only 0.7 miles long, the trail connects to a few major attractions. At the northern end of the trail, trail users can check out Hot Springs State Park which has several bathing pools and other thermal attractions.

At the southern end of the trail, check out the Wyoming Dinosaur Center.

The East Bighorn River Trail is part of the Great American Rail Trail, a 3,700 mile route that will one day connect Washington, D.C. and Washington state.

Parking and Trail Access

Trails users can park at Hot Springs State Park or the Wyoming Dinosaur Center to access the East Bighorn River Trail.
