A short offshoot of the longer Zumbro North Trail, the Elton Hills Run Trail provides a quick and convenient connection to the neighborhoods to the west of the river, as well as the small local park that lends the trail its name. What the trail lacks in length it makes up for in tranquil beauty, following a pleasantly shaded creek corridor on flat, smooth asphalt. Perfect for neighborhood dog-walks and strolls, the Elton Hills Run Trail is a nice addition to Rochester's impressive collection of multi-use trails.
On-street parking is available along 30th Street/Cascade Street NW by Elton Hills Run Park; be sure to follow any posted parking signs and regulations.
