Named in the memory of Arianna Celeste Macnamara, a 7-year old girl who was tragically killed when she was struck by a car while crossing a nearby intersection, the Arianna Celeste Macnamara Memorial Bridge aims to help prevent similar tragedies by providing a safe, off-road connection for cyclists and pedestrians between the Cascade Creek Trail and the Douglas-Cascade Trail in Rochester. The bridge crosses over US Highway 14, a set of railroad tracks, and 7th Street NW, allowing trail users to easily bypass these barriers, helping to tie together Rochester's growing trail network.
Parking is available nearby in Cascade Lake Park, located at 88 23rd Avenue SW.
