Enon Ridge Trail Description

The Enon Ridge Trail is part of a trail network called Red Rock Trails, a proposed collection of 750 miles of trails, sidewalks, and bike lanes across Jefferson County. This shaded trail sits close to downtown in the East Thomas neighborhood. It curves between East Thomas Park and the Jewish cemetery within the former Enon Ridge streetcar right-of-way paralleling Old Bankhead Highway. Red Rock Trails signage greets users at the start of the asphalt pathway. The trail is alternately called the Dorothy Spears Greenway.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking at East Thomas Park (1404 3rd Street West). You can also find restrooms here. There are benches along the trail at the trail at the 3rd Street West crossing.
