The Grundy County Lake Trail circles its namesake 40-acre lake, where outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy fishing, boating, and many other recreational opportunities. The paved trail then continues north, crossing under Highway 20, and runs along the west edge of the small town of Dike in central Iowa. Here, it meets the Dike Trail, connecting the schools and recreation facilities on the northeast side of the community.
Parking is available at the Grundy County Lake campground, or at the Dike-New Hartford Recreation Complex on the northeast side of Dike.
