The Trail starts on Broome Rd. and heads south parallel to N Gallaher View Road for 0.2 miles. A left turn takes you onto E Walker Springs Ln. where the trail sticks close to the road before peeling off and slipping between open green spaces and residential developments. After N. Winston Rd. the trail continues east into West Hills Park. Here it splits into two branches through the park before converging just before the trail meets another street, Sheffield Drive. The trail ends at the West Hills Elementary School parking lot along Vanosdale Rd.
The Jean Teague Greenway connects to other trails including the Ten Mile Creek Greenway and the Cavet Station Greenway.
The trail is easily accessible from most of the nearby neighborhoods.
