The Phillips Lake South Shoreline Trail, located within the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, is perfect for hikers, mountain bikers and cross-country skiing. The dirt trail follows along the shoreline with many scenic views of the shoreline, nearby wildlife, and mountains.
Parking for the South Shoreline Trail can be found at the southern end of Mason Dam, at the Southeast Shore Trailhead.
