Not to be confused with the longer Saint Vrain Greenway of nearby Longmont, the Saint Vrain Avenue Trail is a hard surface, multiuse trail in the Rocky Mountain resort town of Estes Park. While Estes Park is better known for access to singletrack hiking or mountain biking paths in the mountains, it is also home to urban pathways like this one. The Saint Vrain Avenue Trail parallels the road of the same name for 1.7 miles. The trail is downward sloping from south to north, so it's easier to start from Lakeshore Drive and head north to Graves Avenue. The trail mainly runs through past private homes and accommodations for the town's ample visitors. There is little, if any, shade to be found on the trail so take that into account when riding particularly during the summer months.
There is a small lot at the southern end, beside Scott Ponds Playground (2155 Carriage Dr, Estes Park).
