Shoreland 400 Rail Trail Description

The Shoreland 400 Rail Trail opened in 2013 on a former Union Pacific Railroad corridor through the heart of Sheboygan. More than 30% of Sheboygan County’s residents live within a mile of the trail, making it a convenient and safe transportation and recreation option for thousands of people.

Perhaps the highlight of the Shoreland 400 Rail Trail—named for the Chicago and North Western passenger train that once ran through Sheboygan on its route from Chicago to Green Bay—is a converted railroad trestle over the Sheboygan River, which offers views of the city to the west. Trail users can access Workers' Water Street Park from the northern end of the bridge.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking for the Shoreland 400 Rail Trail can be found along N. Water Street across from Workers' Water Street Park.

Shoreland 400 Rail Trail Reviews

Execellent Trail

The Shoreline 400 is an execellent trail to ride. My only problem with it is that it’s too short.
