Thom Station Trail Description

Thom Station Trail sits on an old Frisco railbed in the town of Carl Junction, just 15 minutes north of Joplin, Missouri. It’s a relatively short trail, 2.8 miles roundtrip. The southern half of the trail is paved, while the northern half is crushed gravel and dirt. The trail goes behind residences into the woods, where the highlight is the scenic 400-ft bridge crossing over Center Creek.

Parking and Trail Access

There is a trailhead at the north endpoint, on Allen Street between Joplin Street and Chitwood Street. Signs mark the trail wherever it intersects with a road.
