Columbia’s Wabash Walkway travels a short distance northwest from the campus of Columbia College. While currently less than 0.5 mile long, plans are in the works to extend it farther northeast to Business Loop 70. The rail-with-trail parallels the city-owned Columbia Terminal (COLT) Railroad, which provides freight access to Columbia from a Norfolk Southern main line in Centralia.
