It is a great trail system, and as a taxpayer, I would love to take advantage of what I am paying for, but half the time it is blocked with homeless encampments that block the bridges entirely. Just another gamble in Las Vegas.
We finally got back to ride my favorite trail. So disappointed with the condition of the surface. The cracks across the path every 30 feet were so gapping, it jarred our bikes and backs. It was this way the whole ride and was a very uncomfortable ride. We had to ride the street to get back to the trailhead where we parked. Will not do this path again and do not recommend it to any biker.
We started at Pecos and made it to Acaia Park. We will do the whole trail this week. When we got to Aroya Park we missed the trail, so we spent some time riding around the park. If you get to Aroya Park go over the bridge and make a right, you will get back on the trail. It’s a very nice ride for our e-bikes.
I didn't see a single flamingo on this trail. This is not as advertised.
Tons of homeless people though.
Hi! Woman here ¿¿¿¿I want to run around 5am but the sun doesn’t right rise until 630 am. Are there lights on this trail?
I like this trail, couple cool lil parks, near home. Anyone think or know if it might actually go to lone mountain?
I love walking this trail every morning but now there are tents that are camping out with homeless people. It’s starting to smell very foul and a lot of garbage is starting to accumulate. They aren’t harming anyone but it does make me feel uneasy when walking past it every morning. It’s only a matter of time before more tents start to camp there. It’s been about 3 weeks now and I’m surprised no one has done anything about it. Any information on who to call to remove them from the trail would be great, as I’m sure other people are feeling the same way.
Wonderful Trail…but there was one woman 1/4 mile behind me having a very loud conversation for about 2 miles / straight on complaining about life. Didn’t enjoy that portion too much, but lots of little animal creatures to see on this trail!!
Took the trial today and it was nice and clean. Had to cross a few streets that were not too busy, perfect for a casual bike ride
My husband and I rode this trail after staying at the nearby casino. It’s nicely paved and has views of the mountains. We rode the loop which included the easy to ride portion along the road. All of the trail was flat and easy to navigate. A portion of the trail has lights and I was told by a local resident that the lights are on a night to illuminate the trail.
We did the entire trail today from start to finish. The overall condition of the trail is very good. The directional signage needs to be improved especially on the north end where several other trails converge. There are several areas that you need to cross busy streets but good crosswalks are provided. The scenery is nothing to rave about as most of the trail is looking at the backyards of homes.
