Now in its 10th year, the Marin County Triathlon Weekend is continuing its tradition of being one of the world’s most environmentally conscious triathlons, while donating all of the net proceeds to charity. For 2017, we will offer our Duathlon series in addition to both Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon races. This run, bike, run event is a one-mile run to start the Sprint and a 5k run beginning the Olympic in lieu of the swim, then joining the triathlon bike and run courses for their respective distances. Brought to you by the all-volunteer Sustainable Sports Foundation, the Marin County Triathlon Weekend attracts first-time racers, seasoned triathletes, relay teams and professional and Olympic athletes from across the globe. With the courses’ connection to the natural landscape and commitment to sustainability, the Marin County Triathlon events are magnificently scenic, spectator friendly and gentle on the environment.
