Caramella Ranch Trail Description

The Caramella Ranch Trail runs for around two miles, forming a link between several trails in the southern suburbs of Reno. In the north, the trail branches off from the Damonte Ranch Trail around the wetlands on the edges of the residential subdivisions, and in the south, the Toll Road Trail continues down its namesake street to reach outlying homes and neighborhoods.

The asphalt pathway is mostly flat, following the outer edge of subdivisions to the east of Veterans Parkway. In this developing area of the city, with new streets and homes added on every year, the Caramella Ranch Trail helps to ensure that cyclists and pedestrians have an easy means of getting around and getting outside to experience some of the beautiful mountain vistas encircling the valley.

Parking and Trail Access

No dedicated trail parking is available; parking may be available near the route of the trail on-street. Be sure to follow any posted parking signs and regulations.
