The Greenway Trail travels east-west along 50th Street in Doral, northwest of Miami, Florida. The trail extends between Trails and Tails Park on 117th Avenue, and 107th Avenue. Starting from the intersection with the Turnpike Trail, on the west side of the park, the Greenway Trail cuts a path along the southern park perimeter before switching to the side of 50th Street, where it stays for the rest of its length. Greenery lines the trail, and tall electric utility poles suspend wires overhead. There's even an electric substation along the route. The surrounding area is residential and pleasant.
Wide and flat, the trail is inviting to users of all ages. Centerline striping separates traffic going in opposite directions. There is also lighting on the trail, allowing nighttime walks or jogs.
Park at Trails and Tails Park, located at 11645 NW 50th St, Doral. Aside from doggy play areas for pups of all sizes, the park also offers restrooms and a playground for visitors.
