Mill Creek Greenway is a short hike-and-bike trail in Madison, Alabama, a city next door to Huntsville. The asphalt trail is just over a half-mile long and sits within Mill Creek Park. The trail is useful for dog-owners trying to access the dog park as well as residents of the nearby subdivisions who are just looking for a safe and easy place to walk. There is parking at either end of the trail.
There's two dedicated parking areas for this trail: One is on the south end, near the corner of Mill Road and Balch Road (the address is 167 Silo Hill Rd, Madison, AL 35758). The second is on the north end, on Browns Ferry Road near its intersection with Balch Road.
Connect to Bradford Creek with trail along Mill Rd for longer ride. Has a dog park. New connection being built at Browns Ferry Rd.
This greenway is only 0.5 miles long that runs along Mill Creek. It has an enclosed public dog park along the way which is very spacious for dogs of al sizes. The trail is paved and is very well taken care of with plenty of shade throughout. My kids and I enjoyed riding our bikes along it.
