Longview is listed to have three trails, Cargill, Guthrie and Boorman. This is true BUT all three connect seamlessly!! You can bike from one end to the other making for a 10 mile one way trip or 20 miles round trip! The trails are beautifully landscaped and cared for with benches and workout stations. Highly populated with beautiful cardinals and an occasional bunny rabbit. Green grass beautiful and always mowed length of Boorman trail and Guthrie Trail. Trail is wide concrete on these two. Cargill portion has many more hills, but is also beautiful, but asphalt surface. These trails are so shady and therefore beautiful in the

There is 3+ miles of this trail not on the map. I ran Cargill Long Park from 4th Street to Judson (1.76 miles) and only found 10’ wide perfect concrete. It wound between neighborhoods, over creeks, and under a bridge. I appreciate the City of Longview providing this trail system. Great place to run, walk, or bike.
Great scenic trail for walking with the dogs. Large dog parks on the trail with fences.
This trail is very scenic and there is a lot of nature to take in! If you don’t mind snakes this is the perfect trail for you!
If you don’t bother the snakes they won’t bother you! Just watch your step!
Walked about half of this trail today (midweek/mid morning). Was not crowed at all and was not a bad trail. Is paved and could be used for jogging, walking or biking. The only negative point I have is the creek that runs alongside the path has a lot of trash in it. Some looks like people are just throwing their trash into the creeks as they walk the trail and other trash looks to have been carried down the creek when water levels were high. There were not many garbage cans available along the trail for people to properly dispose of their trash ¿¿. Other then that eye sore, the trail was pleasant to walk.
This trail is excellent for families! Great path for walking, riding, or roller blading!
The trail is not quite 3 miles, one way. It's perfect for biking, walking, running, rollerblading, etc. They have a bathroom at one of the trailheads (Fairmont St Trailhead). Its awesomely shaded in a lot of areas and it's got gorgeous scenery. You will see deer along the trail sometimes and lightning bugs right as the sun is going down. I rollerblade and bike ride on this trail everyday and LOVE it. It's awesome that Longview has this. There are also 2 dog parks, both right off the Loop Entrance.
This trail very nice! Do friendly with dog parks, like it and will be back.
The trail is not well kept. I brought my street bike only to dodge holes in the asphalt and then 1 mile in have to turn around because of the gravel that is on the rest of the trail
