Alfred J. Lima Quequechan River Rail Trail

Great walk. It was 4 miles round trip to go to the end by Lepages seafood. Very scenic. Watch out for the Fiesta duck in the beginning with the red head. He gives you a hard stare down and will chase you. But lots of artwork along the way.

colchester spur

September, 2020 by dpierson1

Heading south toward the Colchester spur, the map shows a fork in the path that veers off to the left. This doesn’t exit. You have to continue down an take a real left. There’s a sign.

Blackstone River Greenway

Not connected, so why is it the same?

September, 2020 by markburek

The best (and really the only) part of this trail starts in Woonsocket, RI. It's very well maintained and a lot of upgrades have happened to it recently. Bravo, RI! I don't understand why it's labeled as all one trail when pieces aren't connected (yet). I get about 20 miles total starting in Woonsocket and then back.

East Bay Bike Path

Well maintained!

September, 2020 by markburek

E Providence to Bristol, RI along the bay! What a great ride! You can also swing into Colt State Park to add some mileage. I highly recommend this trail! NOTE: Currently, yes, there are two detours into streets. I cannot wait for RI to finish the construction, though!

Southern New England Trunkline Trail

Good trail that still needs work

September, 2020 by ta122828

Just completed the trail. As an older person , I did 2-3 miles of the trail per trip. The section the trail in Douglas is packed dirt and in very good shape. As it passes through Douglas State Forest the trail is well maintained. Passing through Uxbridge , the trail is badly rutted due to motorized vehicle traffic. Between Aldrich St and Elm St in Uxbridge, the trail disappears with no signage. You will need to walk few hundred yards along the highway (RT 146) and then descend onto Elm St. from there you will need go through some business parking lots and pick up the trail where it merges with the Blackstone River Greenway. The section from south Uxbridge to Blackstone is paved. The trail stops at St Paul St in Blackstone ( bridge blocked)and resumes again along Castle Hill Way. The condition of the trail in Blackstone and Bellingham varies until you cross Center St in Bellingham. From Center St to Grove St in Franklin ,the trail is in very good shape. The trail is closed at Prospect St , Franklin due to construction. The construction looks to be near completion. All in all , it provided an enjoyable experience.

East Bay Bike Path

Scenic, well-kept trail

September, 2020 by jtl1090

The only drawback is that it can be busy, but what do you expect when you have a trail in such nice condition in such a nice location? Plenty of places to stop for food/water/coffee/Del’s/etc, even in the pandemic

William C. O'Neill Bike Path

Fun, easy ride to beach

August, 2020 by aldcon_tl

Started at train station. Very scenic ride. Many people on trail - walkers and bikes. Trail is wide and no congestion on a Friday. Suspect heavy traffic on weekends. Side spur to URI is labeled and paved. Did not explore. At end of trail took left turn after town building which brings you out into another recreation area. From there rode sidewalks on side streets to beach. Plenty of options to sightsee . Also several neat places to stop for food on trail and at beach.

Great trail newly paved and we'll maintained ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ Unfortunately 2 detours around closed railtrail bridges in Warren force you into a busy street bridge not safe for children ¿¿

Hop River State Park Trail

This is an awesome trail, has a variety of everything, from bridges over rivers and a covered bridge. To tunnels and rock cutouts where they blasted through ledge. Then the trail runs along side the river for a awhile.

Blackstone River Greenway

great walk

August, 2020 by gretchen.l.sharp

This is a great place to walk, but should wear a mask as many portions are not wide enough to social distance. Passed many not wearing. I wish it was posted to please wear a mask as social distancing is not possible in many spots.

Fantastic summer ride

August, 2020 by pisces31180

Long enough ride roundtrip to give you a workout but not too much. Beautiful scenery, shaded forest, open ocean, sea breeze, Del’s Lemonade, old homes. Will definitely ride this one again with friends.
