Nice trail the highlights for this trail is passing the horses alot of traffic is on this trail so u will find yourself hitting the brake queit a bit u got walkers joggers n bikers all on the same trail and it's pack full of people
A significant portion of the trail has eroded into the river and is closed.
The trail is not super busy, but quite long (for St. Louis). The scenery is industrial near St. Louis, but is more natural the farther north you get, with a few great Mississippi views. The section of the trail within North Riverfront Park is new and smooth!
Rode this trail bout two days ago after I bought my giant defy advanced pro 2020 as a birthday gift to myself I like the scenery of this trail plus it's a good length so u can definitely pile of the mileage wasn't crowed either which is a good thing
I did this yesterday I made the mistake of riding with my clippless pedals I now know if I'm not 100% aware of the area I'm traveling I'm not going to ride with clippless pedals but despite my displeasure with the pedals I enjoyed the trail it was a nice ride on the way back I'm do it again with flat pedals
This is my favorite Park to ride at I like it much better than world famous Forrest Park
Nice Lil trail views of the Missouri River and the famous Ameristar casino a few hills but nothing major
I did some research bout trails in Missouri and came across Katy trail I wanted to see where it starts so today I rode from st Charles to Machens bout 20 miles if you count mileage back to my car it was a nice ride I'm interested in completing the trail one day soon
Nothing really spectacular bout this trial but shaw park is a great little park
I recently just got back to riding my bike and this is one of my favorite places to ride love the view of the lake
My family & I walked the full 2.4 miles both ways. Super smooth asphalt all the way. From the school parking lot it is all down hill so be prepared for an up hill walk back to your car. The trail is in a valley and lined with trees and flowing creeks. It is a fun trail to walk and pretty easy.
Lovely paved trail with a view of lake and marsh. Wonderful in the winter when it isn’t too busy.
