Not much by way of elevation, no appreciable mountain biking, otherwise very nice.
Great trail. Takes a little time to find the beginning. Only 3 road crossings.
10 miles of clean and wide concrete roads to be shred with pedestrians. Sometimes you can deviate into gravel trials and vary the experience. You will enjoy this easy trial for sure.
The trail has been extended to at least 5 miles and crosses under about 4 streets including Westpark Tollway and leads into Harwin Park just before you reach Aurthur Storey Park. Plenty of Help stations along with benches.
Not too hilly but still a challenge for a recreational rider and it’s just beautiful! It’s amazing being able able to start in The Houston Heights and end in downtown! BTW: thank u Donald at TrailLink for helping w/ app issues. Great organization! TrailLink is a FANTASTIC source for trails all over Houston. Highly recommend.

It is isolated..no-one uses. You can't get off in the event of an emergency, how do you get help. I see no law enforcement presence.
Though this is nice by Hermann Park. Getting to the nicer part you have to deal with narrow path and points where you are in the road and crossing traffic and train tracks.
In my opinion it needs to be on both sides of the bayou, wider and paved from beginning to end.
I rode from Gus Wortham Golf Course to the end of the Brays Bayou trail. While there are a few places that one has to cross to the other side of the bayou or where one must use crosswalks, this trail is in good condition on this portion. I park in the overflow lot for the Golf Course. The trail east of the golf course is still being worked on (I assume from Harvey damage), plus there are areas one must use roads. But only east of Gus Wortham Golf Course.
I did about 10miles from the eastern end and back. Smooth concrete and asphalt with a few cracks. Very few traffic lights. Nice workout plus two water fountains en route.
Don’t waste your time here if you want to road bike. Most of the trail is under construction or grass.
is a beautiful relaxing place to go biking
