Corvallis-Philomath Multi-Modal Path

Excellent Family Ride

August, 2020 by ryankersh

We took our seven-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter on this trail recently. There are several places where you have to cross roads, but our kids are comfortable with this type of riding, so it felt safe. It's really nice that you can stop at parks along the way for a break. We had a great time.

Lovely paved trail spoiled by lots of homeless. Looks like the city is trying to keep the trash picked up but the this is all Graffiti spoils the ride.

Easy trail with good views

Fern Ridge Path

Wonderful ride through the West Eugene Wetlands. Links up with other well established sidewalks and paths to make a longer ride. I love dedicated trails like this, wish they existed in every city.

Row River Trail

This trail is smooth pavement with a very gentle grade. Beautiful views and country all along the way.

Bald Hill Multi-Modal Path

Fun little trail

Anytime I come across a couple of goats going for a walk, I just know I’m on the right trail! So many friendly people and some serious athleticism going on there, too. The path might be short but has some inclines that seem to produce a bit of perspiration. I loved the trail and will be back again. Hopefully see those sweet goats again!

This trail is well maintained and well marked. Definitely one of the better rail-trails in the Pacific Northwest and well worth the stop. Any kind of bike will work on this trail. One can only hope that it will be lengthened in the future.

Nice Trail System

I rode this trail a couple weeks ago. It is fine. When we lived in Eugene I rode it a lot. I’ve not explored the Springfield part (east of I-5). It can be a bit crowded, so is better suited for a mountain bike and not my LWB recumbent.

Trail very scenic in sections not far from Cottage Grovre,, but narrows to to 8’ around 8 miles out. There are also gravel sections along the last 10 miles, and trail is closed in some areas.. many road crossings

FYI Trail under repair

September, 2018 by jer63jan

My husband and I rode this trail recently from Cottage Grove to about the 7 mile marker, but at that point the trail was closed due to a very large sink hole further on. We could have gone on the road for approximately 2 miles and then returned to the trail, but chose not to do so because the road is used by logging trucks. This was disappointing because the trail is beautiful and in very well maintained.
