I absolutely love this trail! I used to live directly on the trail-path, and I would ride my bike on the trail daily. I recently moved, so I cant ride it as often as I used to, but let me tell you, I do every chance I get!
The main trail has many trail paths (off the main path) that allow you to enjoy a rugged (mountain bike experience), but it also features a great concrete (Main Trail), with some areas being crushed stone; which allow you to speed ride comfortable.
The scenery is what originally got me! Some areas are wooded, with a creek running beside you, and some areas have a lake, parks, bridges; its quite the outdoor experience.
This trail is a must ride, if you haven't already!
not slippery at all, i like how they keep the trail neat and clean.
Parking is located off Pearl St, Belton, TX plenty of restrooms plenty of benches along trail , some shaded areas!
An average trail for hikers.
Did the trail with my kids and was easy enough for them and challenging.
nice if not crowded
Part of the trail goes from pavement to gravel.
The trial is very nice and lots of beautiful views along the way. My family and I love it. :)
It was OK, except for when we got a whiff of the treatment plant. My dog liked it;). A nice bridge, a pass under the highway, some parks and bathrooms. Not challenging, just strolling.
Friars Creek Trail was a great walk. Sadly the water park and the beginning of the trail is covered in litter. The disk course is large and has a great course but maintenance is lacking. The trail has a god length and hopefully might grow in the future still worth checking out.
Great time, many areas to take a dip into the river. The trail is well maintained and there are facilities along the way.
This is a nice trail for biking, walking, or running. Frequented by people of all ages, this trail connects Fritz Park to Creekside Park in Hutto.
