Kerrville River Trail

Great Trail

April, 2024 by pfahlsing

Smooth concrete trail. A little crowded in the middle through the park area. Be ready for an abrupt end at the west end of the trail.

Kerrville River Trail

Quiet Clean Beautiful

November, 2021 by rxrayinc

This trail is great. Lots of spurs into neighborhoods to extend your ride. Great park with fountains. Good, clean bathroom access. Everyone was polite. Access to town could be better but it looks as if that is getting a new trail into town.

Culebra Creek - Helotes Greenway Trail

Lookin' Good Here

The Helotes path opened up since the last time I came and it's a whole lot more of a nice ride. The toilet was clean and there was even a Lysol spray can in there. The paths were completely free of broken glass and graffiti under the bridges was minimal if any. The creek features a large 3+ acre open area of cement-scapes where one can ride down and up and around perpetually.

Kerrville River Trail

The trail has recently been redone and is a 6 mile ride end to end, 12 mile round trip. Really easy ride. Great for all ages. Fyi, the walkers are really skittish of bike riders. The west side of the trail has beautiful nature views of the river!!

Kerrville River Trail

Excellent trail

November, 2020 by dutchstar4018

We are visiting Kerrville for the month and have already biked this trail a couple of times. It is great on the week days but I was told it’s really crowded on the weekends, maybe that’s a better time to walk it rather than bike it. There are quite a few geocaches on the trail too, we enjoyed that!

Worth a note, the trail is nowhere near the location currently indicated on the TrailLink map, it is in Kerrville running through the center of town.

Kerrville River Trail

nice trail

August, 2020 by cwwv5rbwtb

I really nice trail along the Guadalupe River that goes Kerrville. One ends starts at Kerrville Schneider park and goes 5 miles out and then you have to turn around. Goes through 2 nice parks. The trail is has tree coverage over majority but some parts are out in the sun. Hopefully the town will add more in the future.

Cibolo Trail

pretty trail

April, 2020 by jcowboy1969

Enjoy riding bikes on this trail. It’s short but perfect for kids. As most trails it seems safe through a nice neighborhood but I wouldn’t go by myself. However everyone I saw was by themselves. It’s a pretty trail, paved with seating a long the way. Good for older people and kids.

Old No. 9 Trail

fun trail

April, 2020 by jcowboy1969

Fun trail. Straight in the beginning and benches along the way for stopping and resting. Trail has not so great houses backing up to it that made me feel a little uncomfortable being by myself with a child so I took my husband the next time I went. It ends in a pretty place near the Library with bridges and trees so the trail is more interesting on as you approach the library. I think next time we will start our ride at the library.

Fairly easy ride, if you start at Culebra Park you will be on asphalt/dirt in the wooded area.
