The Bandel Road Path is an asphalt sidepath that runs primarily in a utility corridor along the side of Bandel Road in northern Rochester. The pathway provides an alternative option for cyclists to the bike lane on this stretch of the road, and acts as a convenient recreation path for dog-walking or jogging for residents of the nearby neighborhoods - or visitors staying at the nearby hotels who want to get out and stretch their legs a bit. Trail users can continue on the sidewalk from the southern end of the trail to reach additional paths along 55th Street, or take the Overland Drive Trail from the northern end for some additional mileage.
No dedicated parking is available for this trail. Rochester's public transit agency operates a bus line that runs up Bandel Road, with stops along the trail.
