Covering a residential section of northwestern Rochester, the West 55th Street Path helps connect neighborhood residents with the rest of Rochester's expansive trail network, including the lovely and popular Douglas State Trail, which marks the eastern end of the path. This asphalt sidepath offers little more than a smooth, straight roadside route for walking dogs or jogging, but those looking for longer or more scenic routes will be well-served by the trails it connects to.
Parking is available near the eastern end of the trail in White Oaks Park, located on 55th Street NW just east of Nicklaus Drive NW.
