Located in northwestern Rochester, the White Oaks Trail provides a safe and pleasant connection for residents to access White Oaks Park and the Douglas State Trail, one of the area's premier recreational assets. The asphalt pathway bisects the rail-trail just east of 50th Avenue, with several outlets to the large suburban neighborhood to the north. Further east along the trail, White Oaks Park and its playground, open space, and baseball diamond sit ready for use. Continuing as a sidepath trail along the north side of 55th Street, the White Oaks Trail comes to an end at Clearwater Road, across from a large shopping complex. Bike paths along 50th Avenue and 55th Street allow cyclists and pedestrians to continue their journey from either end of the trail.
Parking is available at White Oaks Park, located on 55th Street NW just east of Nicklaus Drive NW.
