This ride was nice. Some good scenery with farm land. Trail is well maintained and good for biking and walking/jogging. The hills are long and gradual and can be a little difficult at times. All in all a great trail for a good workout.
Very easily accessible. Some good scenery with farm land and a few hills. A great ride if you’re looking for a good workout.
Enjoyed the country setting and the challenge of some hills. Beautiful scenery and marked well once you get on it. Had some trouble finding the start but met some locals so NBD. Fun ride!
Super fun ride with a lot scenery changes. Stop at the ST Grocery and Cafe for some local food. Only minor improvements needed are a few pavement issues from roots (need to marked or repaired) and better signage in some areas. It was a great day!
Poorly marked and poorly paved in multiple portions.
We bike the trail. We saw that the lead in on the bridges had asphalt ramps so there was a smooth flow. Lots of citizen involvement is on the trail. We put in at business 441 called Frog.
Drove from Charlotte and cycled from Cleveland Park to Travelers Rest. Not particularly crowded on a Friday a generally everyone considerate of passing edicate. Pavement is a little bumpy in places but overall an enjoyable 22.7 mile ride.
This trail was a big disappointment. The southern most section (about 1/3 of the total trail) was all torn up, with mud, course construction gravel and rough construction plates making this section almost un-passable. And then the trail abruptly stops, with absolutely no way to continue. After we made our way back to the parking lot, we packed up up our bikes, and headed to the northern section, which was nice - but too short to drive 2 hours to ride it.
BTW: The address for parking (763 Glover Street) does not exist. We had to ask passersby to find where to park. Disappointed in TrailLink.
P.S. We didn't see anyone working on the trail, so check with someone in the know before visiting.
Great trail for all types of cyclists to ride. It has it all: restaurants along trail, nearby grocery stores, bike shops, water fountains & restrooms.
I come this way twice a year and make it a point on our way back to PA to ride this trail. The scenery and cites are great. There are bike shops along the route which is nice. Recommend this trail to anyone .The people here always nice too.
Excellent scenery and very well maintained. The road crossings are clearly marked but I felt there were quite a few and it somewhat disrupts your momentum. The trail is very well maintained and I thoroughly enjoyed riding it. Will definitely be back. For the mountain bikers, there are some off road areas to explore.
We go to Rabun Gap every fall and always take our dog to this great trail at least twice during our weeks stay. Great views and great people we always meet.
