Love it!

April, 2022 by juancarlos.anez

My wife and me took this trail today to test our new gravel bikes and we love the mixture of terrain and the ambience that surrounds the route. It is very quiet and sometime you may feel in complete abstraction from the modern city. From 428 to 455 we took the equestrian trail and

Nice family friendly trail

Starts at a park and winds through a nice neighborhood. Trail does have a divider line and during the day, has lots of families and folks walking and running. It’s a short trail but a nice ride

Great, clean, unobstructed concrete trail. I have run this for years since growing up in Plano. The trail gets better with age.

Ice Storm

February, 2022 by kevinkirk51

Just a heads up. The trail at least in Northern Hunt County experienced a severe ice storm and there are trees down on the trail. The areas behind my property look pretty bad from the roadways. I could not find a number to contact them to notify them about it.

380 entrance is open

January, 2022 by jarrodmdavidson

I used to run this trail all the time from 380, then it closed for years. It’s now reopen and the trail looks the same as I remember. Very flat packed dirt or gravel and doing the full out and back is less than 300 ft of elevation change.

Serenity Park Hike and Bike Trail

There is a trail head with a parking lot at the north end. What I like about this trail is that it connects to other trails as you keep going south so if want to stay out longer it's very easy.

Cottonwood Creek Trail (McKinney)

Great skate trail. Would not recommend for beginners. There were a few tricky parts due to standing water, hills, and sharp turns. Would highly recommend for those looking to advance their skills. Will definitely be doing this one again!

Chisholm Trail

Picturesque protected trail - for PLANO ;-)

The older, well maintained neighborhoods of a Plano, such as the ones you’ll pass on this trail are pleasant to look at and relatively safe to ride on. At the southern end of the trail is a felled tree on the west side trail which for most of us, can simply ride around. I downloaded this app so that I would have something different to look at than my immediate neighborhood, and so far it has been beneficial.

Chaparral Rail Trail

Ladonia to Pecan Gap

July, 2021 by boeding7_tl

The surface appears to be in good shape but the overgrowth makes this portion of the trail unusable for hiking, biking and equestrian. Bushes and trees enclose portions of the trail, it is barely passable and where there is grass, it is very tall. By far the worst part are the spiders and spider webs, they are EVERYWHERE. I stopped every quarter mile to wipe them off, they were unavoidable. I exited the trail at CR 3675, three miles into the ride from Ladonia. Had one flat tire from the thick spiked vine that were also ever-present on the trail.

Glad for hike and bike trail but not fond of traffic.

July, 2021 by lovnander

Glad for hike and bike trail near my house (no trailering to start) but not fond of the trail paralleling busy roads. I’m in it for the leisure ride, not a road warrior.
