Might open again as they cleared a log dam. The trail was slightly flooded but passable after a fair amount of early sept rain. The parking lot area might be damaged.

Taychas Trail

relaxing stroll

August, 2020 by m45f545awp

What a nice trail! Wide enough for bikes & walking/running. The little foot paths to the limestone quarry & stream are great! It’s a short walk but looks promising that it is continuing up by the SRT!

Serenity Park Hike and Bike Trail

Good ride goes on farther than map shows

August, 2020 by eric_milner

I ride this path a lot because it is in my neighborhood. Going south, the trail actually goes under Mckinney Ranch and continues all the way to Collin Mckinney Pkwy where it dead ends at the creek/dead end bridge. I like the scenery, creek, ponds and multiple tunnels you travel through.

Rowlett Creek Trail

Work and signs needed

August, 2020 by malcolmelliott

Wasn’t impressed. Poorly marked at the beginning portion of the trail and through the golf course area. It appears the narrow paths through the golf course are the old golf cart paths and most are in badly need of repair and should be widen or upgraded completely. Trail connected to McKinney's Craig Ranch, but didn't go much more than a mile north of 121. So close to Frisco and Plano, I would have thought there would be better signage and connecting trails, disappointing.

Chaparral Rail Trail

Great Path - Easy Social Distancing

June, 2020 by kathi.phillips

Great trail to start the day. I only did part of the trail today, just under 7 miles total, but I will be back to do the whole trail. Friendly people, beautiful scenery, and safe walking conditions.

Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve Trail

Lots of parking at the nature preserve, nice, clean restrooms, beautiful wooded boardwalk trails as well as paved. Connecting also to the Sante Fe and the Bob Woodruff trails. I never knew this trail existed! Great ride!!

Decent trail. Bumps along the way but it’s largely maintained well and connects to bike boulevards.
