Guild-Hardy Trail

Ochs Hwy Parking to Rainbow Falls

September, 2023 by rninendo

This was a gentle incline hike from the Guild Trailhead parking lot on Ochs Hwy to Rainbow Falls then back, it was about 3 1/2 miles total. The trail was easy to traverse with some scattered rocks and an occasional bridge that would supply a vista of the Chattanooga area, it was a quiet trail on the weekday. I came across a couple of runners and a bike the entire time. I rather lost the trail at Rainbow Falls, perhaps I didn’t look too hard and I was content to return. Because I was birdwatching, this took me a couple hours, but a true hiker could do it quite quickly and easily, it’s a very nice trail.

Chief Ladiga Trail

Piedmont to Georgia Line

September, 2023 by garybrogers

We started out our Saturday morning having our trikes tuned at Rocket City Trikes located just off the Chief Ladiga trail in Piedmont, Al. After the tune up rode over a couple blocks an at lunch at the “Elevated Grounds” coffee shop, excellent sandwiches!! Then we were on the trail headed toward Georgia, this about a 14 mile ride one way we meet other bikers an trikers, good conversation an fun! Return trip to Piedmont was great, it is a slight downhill grade most of the way! And of course we topped of the trip with a second stop at Elevated Grounds for Ice Cream!! Was a Great Day on the trail!!

Viking Trail

Great ride.

June, 2023 by mewhitfield_tl

Great ride . We loved the rolling "hills" of the trail and trailheads. This sounds crazy but glad to have port-a-potties along the way for us old folks.(70 plus). Getting back in to riding again and this was a perfect 7 mile ride.

Silver Comet Trail

A wonderful trail!

May, 2023 by digitalpubs

Rode May 4 & 5th, 2023. A fabulous trail! So well maintained! Surrounded by trees on most of the trail. First 20 to 30 miles from Smyrna are probably the easiest.

South Chickamauga Creek Greenway

Beautiful, peaceful bike ride

April, 2023 by bschuman0212

We started this bike path at the Sterchi trailhead. The trailhead had a nice gazebo and clean bathrooms. We headed south starting around mile marker three. The path was asphalt until it turned into a boardwalk. The boardwalk was amazing and continued for a majority of the trail until mile marker six when we turned around because we started heading into a neighborhood and closer to the airport. A lot of the trail is shaded so we will definitely come back in the summertime to have a cool ride. The boardwalks are beautiful along the creek.

Chief Ladiga Trail

Flat trail

April, 2023 by gary.heissler_tl

Started off at the trail head at Anniston and rode north past Piedmont to the 9.5 mile marker. Trail was pretty flat with some bumps along the way. The scenery was good.

Best eBike Ride Ever

April, 2023 by tsaffian_tl

We took this ride in April 2023 and enjoyed it immensely. We travel and have been on multiple bike trails. This is the most beautiful and robust bike trail I have ever been on. It is very well maintained. We have e-bikes and this trail was perfect. They have bathroom buildings, bike repair stations, picnic tables, and emergency phone stations along the route.

Sunset Drive Trail

Nice trail along the lake

March, 2023 by paulfanfoot

Very nice trail along the lake. Easy to find and wide enough for bikes going both directions. Some goose poop to dodge, but other than that very nice scenery.

Aldridge Creek Greenway

Excellent Place to Ride

March, 2023 by paulfanfoot

1st road trip with our electric bikes. This trail was an awesome place to ride with no cross roads. Lots of people using the trail. Not even close to being overcrowded. Highly recommend the trail.

Chief Ladiga Trail

Beautiful views and good trail

February, 2023 by k.bridges

One of our favorites! We’ve started at Anniston, Piedmont and Jacksonville State depending on how much time and how far we want to ride. Bathroom stops along the way and beautiful views. Roots under areas of the path but usually easy to spot & avoid. Mike markers are clearly marked and mostly wide open riding!

Chief Ladiga Trail

Nice and flat

November, 2022 by basteacher123

Husband and I came to ride this trail. We went from the trail head in Anniston. We managed to avoid any rain some lite drizzle but much colder than expected. Rode to mile maker 20. On way back to Anniston we we chased by a white looked like pit bull mix. Food stops along the way would be nice but understandable that there aren’t any for the remote locations. Will most definitely come back!

Silver Comet Trail

Cedartown to Esom Hill Trailhead

September, 2022 by chaspenny

My wife and I rode the 10 miles out from Cedartowm -awesome trail-smooth and mostly shaded on a very hot Georgia day. We drank a lot of water on the ride only to find that there’s no restroom at Esom. Not good for a couple of 70+ bikers. The person at the Cedartown trailhead said that she didn’t know. Beware- still a great ride ¿
