Make sure you read the description all the way through. I rode my hybrid street bike on this trail and glad my tires were not affected by the gravel. Good to know my tires held up well. All in all a lovely trail. I wish I had known about it when my kids were younger. It appears they did a nice job of adding educational signs along the first quarter mile from the Ridgemont entrance. Also more interpretive signs along most trail.
Entered through the Grapevine Mills Mall area on a bicycle just make sure you got good brakes.A lot of shade. The view is very nice. Recommended go check it out.
We ride this trail all the time ! It is a safe, scenic ride and when connecting to other trails. We can get a 30 mile ride in!
My wife &I were surprised by the nice trail here in “Wax”-town. But even more so was the sections I could ride my mountain bike like it should be ridden! Thanks!
I biked this trail a couple of days ago. Nice scenery along the creek. Well maintained. Bikers beware, there are several sets of stairs.
I loved this trail. Beautiful scenery, very lively, lots of birds and flowers. The pond is relaxing. We even saw a blue heron. Highly recommend!
Started in Farmersville. Very peaceful, love the sound of the birds, nice paved trail
It was a great trail and well paved for biking or skating. We saw a snake so be careful but it was very beautiful. Can’t wait to see the rest of it.
We planned to ride both legs, but the one that ends at McArthur is closed about a mile out from Lone Star Park. We turned around and completed the western leg as planned. Not surprisingly, lots of rocks and pot holes on that trail. There was a lot of tree debris on the western leg. Not sure if it was the day of the week or time (Tuesday @ around 1000), but we were the only ones on the trail. It was a nice trail but I would have been more comfortable with a bit more activity.
I am from NH and was thrilled to find this path via this app. Exceeded expectations! Wide, extremely clean, scenic, a lot of tree coverage as well as open space. So many runners, walkers, bikers, and families. I appreciated the Porta John located where I parked. Awesome place for my 18 mile run today. Thank you Texas! Kate
This roughly 7 mile (end to end) trail winds through parks, neighborhoods, and along a nice greenway offering a good ride with little elevation. There is one intersection with vehicle traffic in Arlington, but the trail is safe, smooth (concrete), and busy with riders, walkers, and others out enjoying the trail.
