I loved this trail. Beautiful scenery, very lively, lots of birds and flowers. The pond is relaxing. We even saw a blue heron. Highly recommend!
It was a great trail and well paved for biking or skating. We saw a snake so be careful but it was very beautiful. Can’t wait to see the rest of it.
I am from NH and was thrilled to find this path via this app. Exceeded expectations! Wide, extremely clean, scenic, a lot of tree coverage as well as open space. So many runners, walkers, bikers, and families. I appreciated the Porta John located where I parked. Awesome place for my 18 mile run today. Thank you Texas! Kate
This roughly 7 mile (end to end) trail winds through parks, neighborhoods, and along a nice greenway offering a good ride with little elevation. There is one intersection with vehicle traffic in Arlington, but the trail is safe, smooth (concrete), and busy with riders, walkers, and others out enjoying the trail.
This is our first time in this park; it's a super busy place. You have to be very careful because there are people walking, running, skating, with strollers, and on bicycles. And if it's your first time, the energy is amazing
Rode this trail on Christmas day. It's a great trail but I can imagine all of the intersections might be sketchy during high traffic times. Other than that it's an awesome trail.
This is a fun trail for walkers, runners, families, bikes, and E–bikes. The trail is picturesque and interesting so you don’t get bored easily. I can’t get busy on weekends, but if you go at the right hour, hopefully you’ll be able to do the path without too much congestion. For an in–city trail, this one gets five stars.
Great trail..Brisk walk 6 days per week and squeeze in a bike ride here and there.. on 9/23/2025 at dusk west bound on the trail headed back to our vehicle quarter mile from the Garner parking lot wife heard something in the bush for several minutes. mentioned it to me, i stopped, turned and looked to the south of the trail and there it was.. The big Cat stopped looked at us and turned jumped and ran.. Pretty dense brush but we saw him/her clear as day... I was shocked to say the least... I would expect to see bobcat, but not this big girl.. We walk fast, wife behind me, was stalking and or checking her out.. Kinda Scary...
Not the best for single women to walk alone. So take a friend a stick or some maze if you do! Better for riding bikes.
Rode the North portion of the trail today. Almost 10 miles from the bottom to the top. Parked at the bottom. Near a water treatment facility. Awful smell depending on the wind. The trail is very nice. Smooth concrete. The restroom shown on the Trail Link map is over near the Paws Colinas Dog Park. Hidden inside a wind shelter that looks like some dumpsters should be hidden in there. “Restrooms” = 2 portable toilets!
Perfect for all kinds of human fueled wheels.
