Mountain-Bay State Trail

Consistency would be nice

June, 2021 by andrewhughes26

The trail is a fun ride from Wausau to Green Bay. There are some scenic views and it is a very easy ride. We did this as a one day pilgrimage to our temple (Lambrusco Field). It is interesting how differently the three counties maintain their sections of the trail. Marathon and Brown do a very nice job, but the stretch through Shawano county is riddled with poor conditions at times. However, even at its worst it is still a fun ride.

Ahnapee State Park Trail

first warm day

May, 2021 by wagner.lissa

Nice ride for the first warm day of the season. Did about 10 miles from Sturgeon Bay area to Forestville dam. Only saw 6 others...and 8 turtles lined up in the sun on a pond log. Trillium in full bloom.

Duck Creek Trail (WI)

Ride and Dodge

May, 2021 by larrypotter.lp

This trail is not maintained appropriately. If on a bike, be prepared to swerve and duck branches and growth. It’s a mess. You can tell when you leave the Newton Blackmour stretch and begin the Duck Creek portion of the trail. Messages left to Oneida volunteering to help maintain the trail have gone unanswered. Disappointing.

Packerland Drive Trail

nice trail

April, 2021 by gdljjj

Paved, part loop and part out and back trail. Gas stations along trail in case of low tire, bathroom, etc. Not a destination trail, but nice off the road trail to break up the monotony of riding around my neighborhood. Nice in early spring when gravel trails are soggy still.

Great Saturday afternoon ride

September, 2020 by rselkins007

We had a great day riding from Luxemburg to Kewaunee and back. Beautiful scenic ride and the surface was very good. Saw maybe 10 other people walking or riding bikes. Going back very soon to ride to Sturgeon Bay from Luxemburg.

Fox River State Trail

great trail, nice views

September, 2020 by sensi3d

from forest junction to a little north of greenleaf was well kept gravel wide and hard packed. From that point and north into Green bay it was very well maintained asphalt and farther into the bay it was nice boardwalk, bike shop, coffee shop, restaurants. De Piere to Green bay was a joy, tons of river views, take a camera! Lombardi's grave and house along trail!

East River Trail

Still Under Water

September, 2020 by scottnei3

I decided to give this trail another try on my way back from South Depere. Many of the areas that have been underwater were heavy with debris and algae which could cause for caution to avoid taking a fall on my road bike. Once I cross the bridge heading towards Allouez Avenue just passed Green Isle Park the trail was blocked off still I’m assuming due to the boardwalks still being underwater. But all in all on his trail is open and dry

Fox River State Trail

great trail for a long run

September, 2020 by briihinen

Really nice trail with some really great scenery and great photo ops. Flat, long, clean, lots of trail goers (dog walkers, runners, bikers), but not crowded.
