I access the trail at the highway 73 opening. It is beautiful & quiet. My dogs love it.
Crushed stone was upgraded to asphalt by the end of 2022. Much smoother ride from end to end. Still absent a direct link into Lakeside Park.

trail is in perfect condition and while there were a fair number of users, it was never crowded or congested on this saturday morning. It was a joy to ride roundtrip from menomonee falls to north lake. The only steep hill is in merton just east of dorn road. The small towns of sussex and lannon have some taverns that look interesting. Menomonee park above the north part of the trail just west of lannon road is worth a visit.
Went from Oshkosh to Hortonville for a total of 44 miles. Very good shape and little bike traffic. Really enjoyed the ride. Limited amenities along the trail.
I went here today. When I searched the directions on Google, it said that it was permanently closed. It is. There's a house where the trail should be.
Traveled in July 2023. Very well maintained and no washouts.
It's not listed on the map, but Black Creek has a small pavilion, water fountain with a bottle filler and pet bowl, and a bike repair station. Let the water run for a few seconds to cool off.
Very easy and well maintained Trail between the lakes. We saw lots of young kids riding with family- nice to see.
Great trail.. Lots of little towns to go through and a nice park to water up and clean ready rooms..
