Rawley Point Trail

love this trail!

August, 2026 by krimcg63

One of my favorites! Well packed, some hills and curves. A section with cedars on either side, another section where the trees form a canopy above. Truly enjoyable, ending at Point Beach where you can watch the waves of Lake Michigan crash in on a sandy beach. 5-stars for sure!

Devil's River State Trail

Ok trail

August, 2026 by krimcg63

We picked up the trail in Maribel and rode to Denmark, then rode back toward the other end. We didn’t quite finish it. On the positive—the trail is fairly well maintained. Not much traffic. It’s well marked and there are distance markers every 0.25 miles. A combination of fields, farms and trees, and some nice wooden bridges. Not as positive—some of the gravel is not well packed down. The drop off on the sides on the section from Maribel to Denmark is a bit steep and you shouldn’t take your eyes off the trail. Some of the intersections with roads involve a steep grade up, which makes it difficult if you don’t have an e bike. An ok trail but not our favorite. Also wish it had some ports-Johns along the way.

Friendship State Trail

Old fashioned trail experience but at least it keeps you off the busy highway

July, 2026 by y1htak2

We started from Fritse park (Loop the Little Lake Trail) near Menasha and took the paved Fox Crossing Connector over to the Friendship Trail. A crushed limestone, country trail of mostly farm fields that runs along highway 10. It looks like how trails used to be before biking became more popular. Many parts are basically mowed grass with 2 ruts. There is loose stone and washed out areas. Don’t take this trail if you have poor balance or skinny tires. You can hear the highway 10 traffic noise but it’s not objectionable as it keeps you off the busy road. It has some nice hills. This trail is useful if you want to ride from Neenah and connect up with the Wiouwash Trail. The trail ends at a paved country road

Loop the Little Lake

A nice short jaunt around the lake

July, 2026 by y1htak2

We parked in Arrowhead Park. Lot of parks along this trail with bathrooms. Very nice paved trail. Mostly pretty scenic around the lake. Pelicans and shy egrets. Lots of bridges across the water. Pretty well marked. Lots of maps and signs. Passes by water treatment center, short business area, and a neighborhood of small cottages with garages. We used this trail as a jumping off point from Fritse Park to take the paved Fox Crossing trail to the unpaved Friendship trail.

New London to Shiocton 06/16/26

June, 2026 by darkwolf5423

trail head parking in New London was open. starting out the trail was ok but further east it was over grown with weeds and tall grass, a couple miles from from Shiocton the trail was closed from the flood washing out the trail. I emailed the county parks department hopefully it improves and the washed out part of the trail gets repaired.
