Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail

I enjoyed the walk across the bridge. There are some inclines for a bit of challenge.

Henson Creek Trail

Partially Destroyed by Route 210

July, 2020 by ryan.cortez95

Flash flood destroyed the path. Trees blocking the way and large chunks of asphalt washed into the river.

Capital Crescent Trail

Great Trail!

July, 2020 by olivierserrat1

This is one great trail to go on. Occasionally there will be a glimpse of the roads and every so often a small hill to climb, but other than that, it’s a trail worth doing over and over! Did I also mention that the scenery is breathtaking?

Marvin Gaye Trail

Tuesday morning after a storm

July, 2020 by cfelton32

Very nice and well maintained trail lined parallel by a creek for most of the ride that hugs multiple DC neighborhoods. Plenty of access points to the trails so you don't feel boxed in. Last night a pretty strong storm came through DC so there was some debris and one downed tree that made the ride a little tricky, but I don't blame the trail or mother nature ha. Short 4-miles, so super family friendly. Enjoy!

Northeast Branch Trail

WB&A Bowie/RaceTrack

July, 2020 by logancamilla

Ran this trail from RaceTrack Road Endpoint. There is a parking lot, right at the start of the trail. The trail is 5.5 miles, total. It is apparently at the end of the 5.5 miles, and heads towards Glendale/Lanham. The trail appears to be between neighborhoods, and you cross over a few bridges, following power lines. It is best to go right when it starts to get light out, in the summer, as I can imagine, it will be too dark before. Also, mid-day, it may be too hot, although the trail in some spots is shady. It is decent to run, nice and flat, not much to see but very peaceful.

BWI Trail

It was nice to share the trail for a 12mile run with many cyclists. Not many runners or walkers. It was a beautiful trail & well kept. I will definitely revisit again.

Cross County Trail (VA)

I agree with others- not for road bike

June, 2020 by archibald.samantha

Too many bumps, gravels and turns. Uneven concrete. I have a very light road bike and it was too much for my gears and pedals

Trolly Line #9 Trail

Beautiful easy walk

This was a beautiful easy walk. Shady the whole way. Not too much traffic. Parking was not a problem at 10am.

Carl Henn Millennium Trail

Clockwise v. Counterclockwise.

June, 2020 by klornell

Although I know this part of Montgomery County pretty well (I live about 10 miles away but rarely ride in this direction), this morning I rode the Carl Henn Millenium Trail for the first time. It is much as I expected from having driven around through this area many times. The section west of I-270 is more pleasant and the entire trail is characterized by some gentle long hills that wind along some fairly busy roads as well as some quieter more forested areas & some sections with homes. I started at the Fallsgrove Stream Valley Park and proceeded east, which means that I was riding clockwise. This is the way to go if you wish to avoid going uphill because in this direction its almost all flat or slightly downhill. The path is well marked & generally in very good shape. All told I enjoyed a pleasant hour riding this almost 11 mile trail.
