The bumps are being worked on. Thankfully we chose to use our gravel bikes. Beautiful waterside sectionsDon't skip the National Military Park.
This is a nice Trail for a long walk or short ride You definitely need to be riding a mountain bike a road bike Because the trail is very bumpy Lots of shade on this trail with those hot days.
It was a nice way to end our Sunday/weekend! Plenty of cyclists but still enough room to walk with my partner and my doggie!!!!
For such a short trail, this one is enjoyable. The trail is all concrete and has a few hills, especially going under the roadway. With a skate park and ball fields along one side and a creek along the other, this is a nice neighborhood trail. I visited the trail in mid February with temps in the low 50s, and the trail was well used. Park at the skate park.
Deep river was a great place to walk with your dog. Easy to find
Overall great trail . But trail is cut in between three busy intersections with plenty of cars so you have to be really careful . Also beware of dog poop among the trail. Some dog owners aren’t cleaning up after themselves .
My husband and I love rails to trails cycling. The path here is so rough where roots have grown through and busted the pavement it’s almost impossible to ride in places. We’ll not be going back.
I was disappointed in the trail. If you are going to hike this plan to come way after a rain. It was extremely muddy and therefore getting quite eroded. The biggest disappointment was the human impact as far as first trash and then once I made it to a beautiful deciduous forest with gorgeous beech trees, if these beautiful trees were within a few feet of the trail they were defaced. Come on people!
