Parking was easy. The trail has a modest slope at points. Some sections are elevated above the natural environment, boardwalk fashion. Well marked and well paved. Not overly crowded for such a nice trail in the evening. Highly recommended for walkers, runners and bikers. I look forward to doing it again when I travel here next. :-)
My wife and I had fun. Beautiful scenery and wildlife! Our first trail, so our butts are a little sore. 7 miles is a good starting trail length.
I found it a bit squishy and bumpy for a hybrid. But just fine for a mountain bike.
It's so bumpy and jarring you cannot get a rhythm. Do not recommend
It would be a good trail for hybrid, gravel or trail bike, the parts assessable are maintained, but the majority of the trail is closed for repair. The sign says from hurricane Michael, which occurred in October 2018. So despite the claim of working diligently, I hold little hope of it being opened any time soon.
Can make a 10 mike loop using several trails plus ride a couple surface streets. Very nice loop.
More hills than expected. We rode from parking lot at Fisher Street to the sports complex and there was a lot of street/sidewalk riding. Glad I had my ebike.
Actually 3.5 miles finished. Working on the last .5 mile. Will be a 4 mile loop around the city. Nice paved trail.
This is a very lovely trail with some elevation gain and loss, but very quiet and remote. The key is do not ride this trail if there has been any substantial moisture! We rode this trail when there was snow and ice on the trail as well as melt water and the trail was like riding through quicksand. Very difficult! Maybe during the summertime when it’s dry it would be lovely but not today. Riding on the snow and ice was also treacherous as there were packed down frozen tracks from a truck that uses the path for maintenance and access to surrounding areas.
This is a connector trail, connecting uptown to the Dick & Willie. It’s paved and kept clean, there is a nice bathroom at the parking area.
