Nice shaded areas with picnic tables and views of the river.
Great trail on Saturday afternoon. You do have to cross a few roads, thankfully we never had to stop for traffic. Ended in Gathering Place Park.
I rode the Osage Prairie trail in October 2024. I started in Central Park in Skiatook and rode to the north terminus then back south to E 63rd st N in Turley. The trail was great up to that point then there was a lot of trash and broken glass. I saw a group milling around ahead of me so I turned around. The 10 or so miles I rode in the north part were 5 stars. A nice straight long distance trail. There are two busy road intersections and the death machines DO NOT slow down so be careful on those. I had a close to death experience. Traveling cyclist Facebook
I rode this trail in October 2024. It’s a nice little connector trail in good condition. I rate it 5 stars. Traveling cyclist Facebook
I rode the West Bank trail in October 2024 and the trail is open end to end. I started at the pedestrian bridge then rode south to Turkey Mountain. There is a pretty good hill that is in two sections right at the south end. I then rode north to Rt. 66 — Southwest Blvd and rode back on the East Bank. Great trail with a lot of solitude. I rate it 5 stars! Traveling cyclist Facebook
I rode the Riverparks East Bank in mid October 2024. The trail was open from end to end. It’s like a bicycle super highway with lane markings and no passing zones completely separated from the adjacent pedestrian path with very few death machine crossings. Overall a level, very safe, and enjoyable trail. I rate this 5 stars for sure! Traveling cyclist Facebook
Nice view along highway. Does end in semi-rough neighborhood. Part is old road and ive seen turkey back there and deer. Used to help maintain this trail at Tulsa Parks.
On 9/19/24 rode the trail for about 9.5 miles with my wife. The trail was good macadam the entire length and flat and mostly shady. The Central Park had restrooms, water, parking with security cameras. No water, services or restrooms in that section along the trail. The trail was very nice till we approached Turley. Litter was then everywhere along the trail and dogs wandering .
My favorite trail around. Well maintained and plenty of hills. I start at the NSU trail head and ride to where it meets the creek turnpike trail then head back. Some parts have plenty of shade, some no shade. There are benches and a bathroom stop.
Ride my bike from the liberty trail to the turnpike trail. Great ride!
